Wilderness Voice Have you learned?
Hearing from God is both amazing and necessary. If asked about hearing from God, many individuals would say yes, that they have heard God in one way or another. But hearing from God is not the most important thing. Many have heard God telling or leading them in a certain direction and refuse or just fail to follow that which God spoke to them. So while hearing from God is of the upmost importance, it’s learning from what God is speaking to you that brings true freedom in life and greater unity with God. Because to have true learning there must be an acceptance and a embracing of that knowledge. God doesn’t want us just to hear Him. God wants us the hear and learn from Him about who He is and His ways in eternal lifeThere is only one way to truly know your own heart. God knows your heart as it is, but humans cannot see the heart like God does without a revealer. We can want our hearts to be a certain way. We can believe our hearts are a certain way. We can even say our hearts are a certain way, but without the revealer we cannot know for sure. It is through the things we experience that reveals our hearts to us. Job was a man of commitment to God and righteousness. But to what level? God knew what was in Job’s heart, but Job did not know what was in his own heart. That kind of knowledge comes only through experience. We may not always know why we experience certain things in life, but we can know for sure that those experiences will reveal what’s in our hearts.
John 6:45 It is written in the Prophets, And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me–
At the heart,
