Ephesians 4:1-3 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Being patience is far more than just waiting. In fact if you are just waiting then you really are not being patience, you are really just delaying things. See the reason that patience is such a principal element in a life that is answering the call of God, is the fact that patience is very active in its focus and purpose. Patience is the approach that allows for humility and gentleness to be established. It focuses on acceptance and trust in the working of God. In being patience we should be actively releasing our control in a given situation and embracing God’s control. It is through the avenue of patience that the alignment of God is allowed develop in us and in that which we are facing. Patience is not idle, but rather diligent in taking advantage of opportunity to move with God
